Had the inducer blower motor go out on a 1992 model furnace and really went back and forth on whether to continue to put money into equipment that was on borrowed time or just rip the band-aid off and replace. Out of an abundance of caution and a lack of confidence on how best to proceed on my part, I entertained what was probably an excessive amount of quotes.
I was admittedly getting tired of meeting contractors out at the house and going through the quote process, but I still didn’t feel great about how best to proceed. At the tail end of the process it was recommended to me that I at least give one more outfit a shot at quoting. M Davis Mechanical was that recommendation, and I am appreciative it was made.
Mike was very straightforward in quoting, explained the scope of the project clearly, answered any of my questions, and most importantly was by far the best price for equipment/warranty for the size of my system.
There were a couple of small, honest communication errors between Mike and the technicians doing the install, but they were diligent in making sure the job was completed as agreed upon.
It has been about 2 months now since I had the work done by M Davis Mechanical and I am still pleased. If you need HVAC work or a system install/replacement, you should at least give them a call. I am glad I did.

M. Davis Mechanical came out to work on the condo unit above me. I had been waiting on the HVAC company who was coming to work on mine and thought he may have been the guy He explained that he wasn’t but quickly diagnosed my problem as well…it needed cleaned. So he took at a house and politely cleaned all 4 units that were sitting there. I was utterly shocked and asked him if I could give him anything for his trouble , but he just told me I “should be a lot cooler now.” Classy guy who did a good deed out of kindness.
